Today’s post is all about this yellow ribbed v-neck sweater that is perfect for adding a pop of color to the dreary Winter months ahead. SHEIN sent it to me, and for $19, it’s a great addition to my closet. I have been collaborating with SHEIN for awhile, and I always receive questions about ordering from their site. Yellow Ribbed V-Neck Sweater Details

So this was basically the absolute perfect fall day… in December. I’m really going to miss all of the brightly colored leaves as Winter rolls in. I love this time of year, but once the leaves are gone, the Winter always looks and feels so dreary. This yellow ribbed v-neck sweater is the perfect piece to brighten up your wardrobe and bolster you through the bleak Winter ahead.

For sizing, it comes in “one size only,” but the measurements seemed to be exact. The bust is 39 inches. (Something I always look at, but more on that, and other tips for shopping SHEIN below). It was a little big on me, so if you’re normally an extra small or small and like an oversized look, this sweater is for you! I love it tucked with a belt to add a little extra something to an otherwise simple look.

I talk about this pair of denim jeans all the time. It’s because they’re amazing. If you don’t own a pair, you need them. You’ll thank me later.

Tips for Shopping SHEIN

I’ve posted tips for shopping at SHEIN multiple times, but I always receive questions about it. It’s a great site as long as you follow these simple guidelines.

1. Check the size chart. For every single item.
2. Read the product description. Know what fabric you’re getting.
3. Read the reviews + Look at pictures that buyers have added

A few questions I always get are:

What is the quality of the items? – It depends. That’s why I always say to check the fabric and look at reviews/pictures. Some items are very well made and others have been good to wear just a few times. This coat that I recently posted was amazing! But, I knew it would be because I shopped smart, read the reviews, and perused the pictures that other bloggers had posted.

How long does it take for the items to arrive? – Again, it depends. Sometimes 1 week, sometimes 2-3 weeks. If you’re looking for an outfit for a special event, I would suggest ordering weeks in advance.

Do I really have to check the size chart for every item? – YES! Trust me on this one. It’s a must. Recently, I ordered an extra small in one sweater, a large in a coat, and a “one size” in another sweater. I don’t know why it varies, but truly, every item is different. Take your time when ordering, and you should be fine.

What’s the best measurement to go by? – For me, when ordering tops/sweaters/jackets I always go by the bust size. If the garment fits your bust, it should fit the rest of your upper body. For pants, I always check the hip size first. Knowing your measurements is key when ordering from SHEIN.
