There’s nothing I love more than snuggling up in the Fall and watching a great movie or show. Today I’m sharing 40 ideas for what to watch this Fall. Whether you’re in the mood for something comforting or creepy, I’ve covered all the bases.

26 MOVIES TO WATCH THIS FALL

When Harry Met Sally – I mean, do I even have to say anything?

Practical Magic – FAVORITE! I can’t even tell you how many times I’ve seen this one. “I dream of a love that even time will lie down and be still for.” Ahh SO. GOOD.

It’s the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown – Classic. Favorite. Must Watch. Growing up, my mom and I watched this together every year.

Sweet Home Alabama – This one is set during the Fall, and it will always be a favorite of mine. I keep hoping for the sequel that Josh Lucas has been trying to make happen.

Dan in Real Life – When Steve Carrell’s character sings “Let My Love Open the Door” – the best part!

Stepmom – Adam and I quote this movie all the time. I can’t make myself watch the end, but I love the entire movie up until the end. LOL

Little Women – Another favorite that my mom and I would always watch together. I haven’t seen the newest version, but I love the one with Susan Sarandon & Winona Ryder.

Love Story – An oldie but goodie!

Halloween series – I used to watch these with my Granny when I was younger, so of course, they’re a Fall must for me.

Scream series – Adam and I both love these movies. We watch them every year!

Legends of the Fall – When I meet people who haven’t seen this movie I’m like, “What have you been doing with your life?!” Kidding, kind of. This is Brad Pitt in his prime + all the heart eyes for Aidan Quinn’s character.

Pride & Prejudice – (Kiera Knightly version) Something about this one feels Fallish. I love it.

Hocus Pocus 1 & 2 – The first is a classic. If you’re a fan, you should watch the second one, but just don’t have any expectations going in. It’s worth the watch, but it will never compare to the original.

You’ve Got Mail – “I would send you a bouquet of newly sharpened pencils.” Y’all already know this is my all-time favorite movie. Ever.

The Strangers – Only watch this one if you’re feeling brave! This is the scariest movie I have watched. EVER.

IT 1 & 2 – The new versions. So good!

Harry Potter series – Totally Fall-worthy. Just go ahead and block off your entire weekend.

Addams’ Family Values – This one takes me back to my childhood and, in my opinion, is the best one in the series.

The Others – This one still creeps me out every time I watch it.

House of Wax – Because…. Chad Michael Murray. Duh.

A Quiet Place 1 & 2 – Not really a scary movie. More of a suspense/thriller. If you don’t like super scary movies, you will like this. Plus Emily Blunt and John Krasinski are perfect together. We haven’t watched the second one, but I heard it’s good too.

Twilight series – I mean, what is more Fallish than vampires & werewolves?

The Invisible Man – More suspenseful than scary, but so good!

The Autopsy of Jane Doe – We watched this one on Netflix a couple of years ago and it was really spooky!

Hush – We watched this one on Netflix too and it was creepy & suspenseful.

Ma – This is a suspenseful thriller that is so good!

14 SHOWS TO WATCH THIS FALL

The Haunting of Hill House – This is the best in the series in my opinion.

Riverdale – Season 1 was great. After that, you might want to pick something else on the list.

Dahmer – This is on our list to watch!

Stranger Things – We are thinking about re-watching this from the beginning. So good & perfect for Fall.

The Following – We re-watched this recently and it was even better the second time around. It is so creepy & good! Plus, we love Kevin Bacon.

The Killing – This one is a good murder mystery. The same case takes up 2 seasons, and then the last 2 seasons are different storylines.

Dexter – If you haven’t watched Dexter, it’s a must. It’s great for binging since there’s 8 seasons. We also watched Dexter: New Blood & it was good too, but I wasn’t happy about the ending.

Gilmore Girls – Honestly, this is a show to watch every season!

The Vampire Diaries – Two words: Damon Salvatore.

Yellowstone – This is the best show on television, in my opinion. SO. DANG. GOOD.

Friday Night Lights – What’s more Fallish than football?

YOU – Oh so good and extra creepy!

How to Get Away with Murder – Lots of twists + so easy to binge on Netflix!

Broadchurch – This is a crime show with a different story line each season. It was very similar to The Killing.
