In my opinion, the key to chic is simply adding a little interest to your outfit. So to ensure that your next neutral look doesn’t fall flat, I’m sharing a few of my best tips!

Hi babes! I hope you’re not snowed in where you are, but if you are, I’ve found the coziest gift to treat yourself with! Have you heard of Bow & Drape? They have the CUTEST clothing and accessories! Hi babes! I hope you have all had a wonderful weekend! We have been so busy lately. I feel like I’ve been running around in circles between work, blogging, the gym, getting my Masters, and trying to have some down time.
That’s one reason I have been LOVING easy looks. I am all about finding great pieces that I can just throw on and go, and this velvet bomber is no exception. It is the epitome of effortless and cool. I also loved pairing it with my new favorite sneaks and leggings! (Side note: Invest in these leggings ladies, they’re the bomb.com).
Back to the jacket.. it’s a total steal for $26. This is the first time I have received anything from Make Me Chic, and I was SO impressed with the quality. Happy Tuesday loves! Was today not the Monday-est Tuesday EVER?! I am totally exhausted, but I am proud to say that I was back on my diet and gym routine today! WooHoo! Anyone else fall off the wagon over the long weekend? It happens. Totally happened to me… BUT today was a new day and a fresh start! Don’t lose heart babes.
I wore this open shoulder ruffle top on Sunday and I just loved adding a little somethin’ extra to my normal all-black attire. Anyone else wear all-black… all the time? I can’t help it. It’s a favorite and I always come back to it.
I got so many compliments on this top and I am already planning to wear it again this week. It is cotton material and as far as the fit goes, I ordered up two sizes and got the large, just so it would be a little loose. It you like a more fitted look, I would say go up one from your normal size. Did I mention this top is only $12? It is probably one of my favorite pieces from SheIn! You totally need it in your closet. 🙂
Hi loves! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend! We have spent ours celebrating Adam’s birthday. It has been a lot of fun, but I have eaten soooooo badly! One of my resolutions this year was to get back in shape and drop some weight before Summer gets here. I have been back in the gym and had been doing so good on my diet… until this weekend. Many chicken fingers, chips & queso, and slices of birthday cake later, I am SO ready to be back on track. Anyone else fall off the wagon this weekend? Also, we have been experiencing some crazy weather here in Alabama. The temps have been in the 70s lately! However, I couldn’t wait any longer to break out this adorable All For Color Pink Check Shawl. It is sooo cute and the color is probably my favorite part. I love anything pink, and this vibrant pink is just so eye-catching in the middle of January. I also really like how flattering it would be on any body shape. (Totally perfect if you struggled like me this weekend-ha!) Also, did I mention it’s ON SALE for $23? Y’all know I love a good sale! It comes in blue too.
