In today’s post, I’m sharing my travel guide to Panama City Beach, Florida. Adam and I have been going to Panama City Beach, Florida for years. We both traveled there before we were married, and have been almost every year since being married. So, it’s safe to say we know the best spots. I’m so excited to share all of our favorite Panama City Beach favorites with you!

Before sharing our favorite spots, I have to share a few beach photos. In my opinion, the white sand makes Florida’s beaches some of the prettiest. There was a good bit of seaweed this year, but after a few days it was gone and the water was so clear!

PLACES WE LOVE IN PANAMA CITY BEACH
Caption Anderson’s Get all my outfit details in this post.
We have been going to Captain Anderson’s for years. The marina is right outside of the restaurant, and it’s the perfect photo op! We always take pictures outside by the boats while we are waiting. We have always waited around an hour to eat, but it is so worth it. Everyone we know loves eating here and there is plenty to choose from on the menu. The restaurant is huge, and the decor is nautical themed with large windows looking out at the marina. Overall it’s a great dining experience, and a PCB must.

So Barefoot Hide A Way Grill is a restaurant that we tried for the first time on last year’s trip. Last year, we LOVED it. This year, we had a somewhat different experience. The food was still great, but the service left much to be desired. However, I do not think that was everyone’s experience at the restaurant that night.
I do like how there are indoor/outdoor seating options, as well as more cute photo ops (hence the gorgeous colored wall behind me).
Pineapple Willy’s
We love, love, love Pineapple Willy’s. The food, atmosphere, and service are always excellent. I can’t remember ever having a bad experience there. However, again, get ready to wait. We usually wait an hour to an hour and a half to eat here, but it has always been worth it. (Ask about eating on the pier!)
While waiting, we always take pictures by the pier.
Throwback pic from last year’s trip. And this year’s Pineapple Willy’s photo.
Schooner’s
This photo was taken outside of Schooner’s while we were waiting. I can’t believe I didn’t get any other photos because this place was amazing. This was our first time to try Schooner’s, and we absolutely loved it. It was my favorite meal of the entire trip. (I got the shrimp, but we have heard that their hamburgers are great too. We actually saw someone’s hamburger on our way out and it was HUGE!) It’s an open restaurant so you have the outdoor beach feel no matter where you are seated.
We also love eating at Pompano’s, but didn’t make it there this year.
Pier Park
Again, I could kick myself for not getting more photos at Pier Park, but oh well. Pier Park is another “must do” when visiting Panama City Beach. It’s basically an outdoor shopping center with stores, restaurants, bars, a movie theater, and more. We have eaten at a few restaurants there over the years, but honestly, none were worth the wait. It’s always pretty crowded, but it’s still fun to go walk around, shop, and get dessert. Pier Park also has a Dave & Buster’s and for the past two years, we have spent a night eating dinner & playing games there. It’s one of our favorite nights!
The Yard Milkshake Bar
The Yard is a recent addition to Pier Park. It’s a milkshake bar where the options seem endless. You can choose from their specialty shakes, or create your own. It’s pricey ($14 for a small shake) and the wait was pretty long, but our milkshakes were delicious. We probably won’t do it again in the future, but it was still fun!
Coconut Creek
This photo is from last year’s trip, but I had to include Coconut Creek. We have been playing putt-putt there for several years. This year we chose to try a different location, and to me, it wasn’t the same. We went to Goofy Golf, and it was fine, but it was a lot smaller and a few of the holes were under construction. It’s hard to beat Coconut Creek, because everything is just over the top & very well-kept. The jungle theme is awesome! (Check out the monkeys hanging from the trees).
