I don’t know about you, but I love to wear shorts in the Winter. It’s a great change from my jeans, boots, and leggings. I always get compliments when I wear them; I think because it’s so unexpected. I usually wear darker colored shorts with my tights. Because these shorts had such a fun pattern, I kept the top and jacket simple to accentuate them.
Jacket: It’s the same one from my Valentine’s post a few weeks ago. I linked similar ones there. Invest in a fitted black jacket, you’ll thank me later!

Okay so Britt might not have been my pick to win, (totally Team Whitney) but since the first episode, I have been obsessing over her lip color! After checking her Instagram, I found a post where she said that it was a random color she bought at a drugstore for a few dollars and wasn’t even sure what it was (insert eyeroll).
So, I went to the Internet, and FINALLY after a tip from The Trendy Socialiate, I found this color combo! I knew I had to try it and… I LOVE IT!
I started by lining my lips with Urban Decay‘s 24/7 Glide-on Lip Pencil. This is a crucial step to prevent feathering. The shade is “Anarchy.”
Next, I filled in my lips with Bite Beauty‘s Matte Créme Lip Crayon – The shade is “Framboise.” The matte color goes on smooth, and it’s so light that it feels like I’m not even wearing anything.
I hope that it’s acceptable to wear this shade every day, to every occasion, because I’m pretty sure I will be doing just that. Try it & let me know what you think!
