Hi loves! Today I wanted to share another one of my favorite new boutiques with you: She Is Boutique. She Is Boutique has so many cute pieces, and they’re all great prices. I loved this Leopard Tunic because it is the perfect length in front, and even longer in the back, so I was able to wear it with leggings. And we all know I prefer leggings to pants any day! The tunic is a little on the thin side, so I wore my favorite two-way cami underneath. (Totally worth the investment). I think this tunic would also be adorable with a leather jacket and chunkier heels, but I paired it with my favorite OTK boots because they’re currently ON SALE! Hi babes! How has your post-Christmas week been? I have to say, I am still a little sad that Christmas is over. It always seems like there is such a huge build up and then it’s all over in the blink of an eye. I am still procrastinating about putting up all of our decorations, but I know I’ve got to do it before heading back to work next week. Anyone want to come help? 🙂

The Best Leggings + Cowl Neck Tunic

Hey babes! I’ve been off the blogging grid for the last few days as we’ve been enjoying all 7 (yes, 7) Christmas gatherings with our families. I hope you all had as wonderful of a Christmas as we did! As the year is drawing to a close, I am so looking forward to all the new beginnings in 2017. I am so thankful for each and every one of you who have helped my little blog to grow. I am so appreciative of all your sweet comments and support over the last few months.

Has anyone else been taking advantage of all the post-Christmas sales? If you haven’t already, check out my picks from my favorite retailer’s Half Yearly Sale under the “Shop My Instagram” tab. This cowl neck tunic is one of my favorite pieces from the sale, and it is constantly out of stock (for good reason). It is the softest, stretchiest material and so easy to just throw on with leggings, and go! I’m also wearing my new favorite leggings today, and I can finally say that I see what all the fuss is about with these. I have heard so many bloggers raving about these leggings, but the price tag had always scared me off. However, the last time they went on sale, I finally snagged a pair and… I’m in love. They are super comfortable, not at all see through, AND have a wide waistband! I can honestly say that they are worth the investment!

Good morning babes! The countdown to Christmas is on! What have you been doing to enjoy these special days leading up to it? Adam and I have been busy finishing up our shopping and wrapping gifts. I have also been soaking up the days at home with lots of coffee and Hallmark movies!

Yesterday, I braved the cold to shoot this adorable Buffalo Plaid Coat from SheIn. You all know that I’m obsessed with anything plaid, and this coat is no exception! I knew it was going to be cute, but when it came in the mail I literally let out a squeal. This is the perfect statement piece. As you can see, I wore all black underneath and let my coat and scarf be the focus of this look. I’m also a big pattern mixer, so I added this fun scarf to bring out the red on my lips. [Side note: If I’ve said it once, I’ve said it a hundred times, ColourPop’s Creeper is the perfect shade of red. It’s my go-to.] As far as sizing for this coat goes, I ordered the small and the fit is great, but it was slightly snug in the sleeves. So, if you plan on wearing sweaters underneath, I would suggest sizing up. Did I mention this coat is only $24?! It also comes in red & black and I’m pretty sure that I will be adding that piece to my closet ASAP. I’ve linked the rest of my outfit below. I think it goes without saying that the BP mock neck sweater is still my absolute favorite sweater this season, and I always recommend Hue leggings! These leatherette leggings add the perfect touch of sass to any Winter look.
