Hi babes! Today’s post is going to be short and sweet. I am still recovering from an exciting Valentine’s Day with 34 first graders! ha But now that Valentine’s Day is over, who else is craving Spring? We still haven’t had a big snow in Alabama, so if there’s not going to be any snow, I say, “Bring on the sunshine!” I’ve already been shopping for some Spring essentials, and I wanted to share them with you as well. You can shop them all below. 🙂 Hope you’re having a great week!
Hi loves! It’s Super Bowl Sunday, and I’m just over here like, “When’s the next red carpet?” ha! Anyone else with me? Aside from football, I love the month of February. I have always loved Valentine’s Day, and I love it even more as a teacher. It is just the sweetest day at school. I love watching all my students exchange Valentines with each other. They always have the biggest smiles on their faces when they’re reading them.
So of course, I’ve been wearing a lot of red and pink lately. Make Me Chic sent me this ADORABLE pink, ruffled, off the shoulder blouse and… swoon. I think that pretty much sums up my feelings. It actually has a tiny gingham pattern, which I didn’t realize until it arrived. Does it get any cuter than that? Plus y’all know I love a good deal, and this top is only $20! I don’t have that many off the shoulder tops, but since this one arrived, I’m craving more.
This whole look has me dreaming of Spring! Have you been having warmer temps where you live? Our highs for the week are all in the 50’s and 60’s… so crazy! If the warm weather continues, I will definitely be wearing this on Valentine’s Day. For size reference, I’m wearing the XS. Hope you all have a wonderful week!
Thank you Make Me Chic for sponsoring this post <3.
Hi babes! I have been a little bit under the weather lately, and slacking with my blog posts. #teacherlife I’ve had lots of little firsties sick the past week, so some prayers for healing would be appreciated! As much as I hate being sick, I really hate to see them feel so bad. So, until further notice, the lovely smell of Lysol will be permeating our room. ha
However, despite feeling bad, I couldn’t wait any longer to share this super cute sweatshirt with you. SheIn sent it to me, and I think it is so perfect for the month of February. I just love the lashes! I’ve seen this design on tees before, but never a sweatshirt. This sweatshirt could totally be dressed up or down, but I chose to style it with my leggings and sneaks, because honestly… who doesn’t love a comfy/chic look? For sizing, I am a 4-6 and wearing the large. So definitely size up, especially if you want it a little loose.
Did I mention it’s only $15?! Seriously y’all, SheIn is the best! It’s the perfect gift for yourself or your Galentine!
Hi babes! I hope you have all had a wonderful weekend! We have been so busy lately. I feel like I’ve been running around in circles between work, blogging, the gym, getting my Masters, and trying to have some down time.
That’s one reason I have been LOVING easy looks. I am all about finding great pieces that I can just throw on and go, and this velvet bomber is no exception. It is the epitome of effortless and cool. I also loved pairing it with my new favorite sneaks and leggings! (Side note: Invest in these leggings ladies, they’re the bomb.com).
Back to the jacket.. it’s a total steal for $26. This is the first time I have received anything from Make Me Chic, and I was SO impressed with the quality. If you’re looking for a bomber jacket, this is the perfect one. Plus, velvet is so on trend right now. I can’t stop wearing it. For sizing reference, I am wearing the medium. Hope you all have a wonderful week!

Happy Tuesday loves! Was today not the Monday-est Tuesday EVER?! I am totally exhausted, but I am proud to say that I was back on my diet and gym routine today! WooHoo! Anyone else fall off the wagon over the long weekend? It happens. Totally happened to me… BUT today was a new day and a fresh start! Don’t lose heart babes.
I wore this open shoulder ruffle top on Sunday and I just loved adding a little somethin’ extra to my normal all-black attire. Anyone else wear all-black… all the time? I can’t help it. It’s a favorite and I always come back to it.
I got so many compliments on this top and I am already planning to wear it again this week. It is cotton material and as far as the fit goes, I ordered up two sizes and got the large, just so it would be a little loose. It you like a more fitted look, I would say go up one from your normal size. Did I mention this top is only $12? It is probably one of my favorite pieces from SheIn! You totally need it in your closet. 🙂
