It’s almost here! The biggest and best sale of the year! I know that bloggers go a little crazy this time of year with Nordstrom Anniversary Sale coverage, so I promise that I will try not to, but y’all… it’s so good. In today’s post, I’m sharing everything you need to know for shopping the sale + my tips and tricks for getting the items you want.

July 12 – 19: Early Access for cardholders only
July 20 – August 5: Public Access to the sale
WHAT’S SO GREAT ABOUT THE NORDSTROM ANNIVERSARY SALE?
Bloggers rave about it for a reason. The sale features ALL NEW Fall/Winter inventory. This is the perfect time to buy your Fall/Winter staples like boots, jeans, jackets, etc. What other store gets all new seasonal inventory in, and then puts it on sale?!
During the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale, I love shopping for my basics like camisoles, leggings, jackets and boots. (My favorite Sam Edelman boots from last year were purchased during the Nsale). This year I will also be shopping for sweaters/cardigans and jeans. There are always amazing deals on denim during the sale.
TIPS FOR SHOPPING
- Order first, think later – Items sell out VERY QUICKLY. If you’re considering something, order it, because chances are, it won’t be there later. Nordstrom has free shipping and returns, so if you receive the items and change your mind, it’s super easy to return. Box them back up, stick on the prepaid return label, and you’re good to go!
- Get the Nordstrom card – Two years ago, I didn’t apply for the card and immediately regretted it. A lot of the items I wanted sold out during Early Access and were not restocked during Public Access. Last year, I applied for the card because, trust me on this, the sale prices were too good to miss again. You can apply online, and be approved right away.
- Go ahead and browse – Check out the Anniversary Sale catalog and write down all the items you want. This will help you stay focused and ensure that you search for those pieces first.
