I decided to take a short break from the blog after the whirlwind that was Blogmas. I enjoyed the holidays with my family and friends and made a conscious effort to put the technology away and be more present. It was just what I needed. We had a wonderful Christmas, and I hope that you all did as well! These photos were taken when my blogger friend Kelly and I went to Nashville for a quick girls’ trip. Fun fact: Kelly and I have actually known each other since we were in high school (one of my closest friends is related to Kelly) so it has been awesome to reconnect with her over blogging.
With that being said, the small break was just what I needed and I am so excited to get back to blogging for you guys. 2018 was such a great year and it’s hard to imagine 2019 topping it, but I can’t wait to see what the new year will bring! I love Christmas, but I’ve always loved New Year’s Eve too. It always holds so much excitement and promise, and I love any opportunity to wear sequins! New Year’s Eve outfits are some of my favorite to plan, because basically, anything goes.
