I’m not gonna lie, I felt very Woods comma Elle-ish in this outfit… but I think that’s what made me love it even more.
Monochromatic Outfit
I can’t remember ever wearing a monochromatic outfit. It’s just not something I’ve ever tried. But as I was putting this outfit together, everything I paired with the camisole was just “okay.” (And btw, I love this camisole so much that I now own it in 3 colors. It’s cute, easy to wear, and the scalloped neckline gives it that little something extra. It also has adjustable straps!) Because I love the camisole so much, I really wanted to do it justice and not just pair it with my old faithful denim shorts. So, my next thought was, “Pink on pink? Why not?”
This is definitely a statement outfit. Pink on pink might not be for you, but what about blue on blue? Or white on white? Give it a try. It’s always fun to mix things up and step outside of your comfort zone.
Sizing
My camisole and wedges are both true to size. For the shorts, however, I would suggest sizing up. I bought my normal size and they fit fine, but since they are high waisted, a size up would have been more comfortable.
Have you tried the monochromatic outfit trend? Do you love it/hate it?
