In today’s post I’m sharing all about our recent stay at Margaritaville Resort Gatlinburg. Adam and I had not been to Gatlinburg since we were much younger, so we were both super excited to travel back there for a weekend stay with another couple. Our Room
As soon as we arrived, we were blown away by the gorgeous lobby. You instantly feel like you’re stepping into a tropical paradise. During our stay at Margaritaville Resort Gatlinburg, we kept saying how we felt like we were somewhere tropical, instead of somewhere with 35 degree temps. Haha! We traveled with Adam’s brother & his wife, which was nice because when we usually see them, it is in a family setting. It was fun to get to travel together in more of a couples setting.
Our rooms were so pretty!! The staff made sure that we were right next to each other, which was perfect. We loved the turquoise and green tones, and we also loved that our rooms had a private balcony and a fireplace. Another major plus was the rain shower. It was awesome!!

Around the Resort
Inside the resort, there are a couple of dining options. Their in-room dining menu is pretty extensive, plus there is a Joe Merchant’s Coffee & Provisions in the lobby, as well as the License to Chill Lobby Bar. Right outside the resort is the LandShark Bar & Grill, in addition to a ton of restaurants within walking distance! I cannot say enough good things about the location of Margaritaville Resort Gatlinburg. It’s at one end of Gatlinburg’s main strip, and directly across from Anakeesta (more information on that coming in a later post) so you are in the perfect location to start walking & sight-seeing!
There was such a fun atmosphere in the resort with live music on Friday night, and a constant buzz over by the License to Chill Lobby Bar. It was busy both nights we were there! The entire space is so inviting, and definitely makes you want to stay awhile with a cup of coffee (or a margarita) in hand! 😉
Other Resort Amenities Include
Outdoor pool with waterslide, indoor pool, hot tub, St. Somewhere Spa, 24-hour fitness center, and a large covered outdoor terrace with a fireplace, TVs, and fire pit (this is the perfect spot to hang out in the evenings). Even in the cold temps, we were nice & toasty outside by the fire.

Gatlinburg is great for a couples’ weekend getaway (more information on things to do in my next post), and Margaritaville Resort Gatlinburg is the perfect place to stay! I truly cannot say enough good things about the resort, the staff, and the location. All were top notch!! We loved Margaritaville Resort Gatlinburg so much that Adam and I are already talking about planning our wedding anniversary trip at another Margaritaville Resort in Florida. All of their resorts look beautiful!!

The decor at the Margaritaville resorts are so fun! The one in FLL has a giant chandelier of margarita glasses! lol I just loved the attention to details. I would love to try this one out in Gatlinburg!
