Today I’m sharing a travel review of my recent stay at Hutchinson Shores Resort & Spa in Jensen Beach, Florida. I traveled there to meet my blogger bestie Brittany Courtney for a 4 day girls’ getaway, and we had the best time! As I’m looking back at these photos, I’m already trying to plan my next trip back to Hutchinson Shores.

HUTCHINSON SHORES RESORT & SPA

Hutchinson Shores is located about an hour north of Palm Beach in Jensen Beach, Florida. The resort has so much to offer including: 178 guest rooms, 2 heated outdoor pools and cabanas, 3 dining options, and of course, the gorgeous beach!

OUR ROOM

Our room was perfect! I have always loved how a nautical theme emanates such a relaxed vibe. All of the blue tones felt so soothing after a day in the sun. And the bathroom was gorgeous! I wanted to bring the shower home with me.

DRIFT KITCHEN + BAR

Drift Kitchen + Bar is the signature restaurant of Hutchinson Shores Resort & Spa. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are all served at Drift Kitchen + Bar and there’s even a Happy Hour on Monday – Thursday. Everything we tried at Drift was delicious, but my favorite meals were breakfast. I recommend the french toast & housemade potatoes!

In addition to Drift Kitchen + Bar, there is the Dune Beach Bar and Reflections Pool Bar. We ordered lunch by the pool one day and shared chips and guac, shrimp tacos, and pepperoni pizza. Everything was amazing!

5 REASONS TO STAY AT HUTCHINSON SHORES

1.  While we were there, even at the peak of Summer, Hutchinson Shores had a very quiet, laid back atmosphere. This is a great place to vacation with your family, or with your significant other if you’re looking for a quiet, romantic getaway. It was also perfect for our girls’ trip because it was so relaxing!

2. It is only a short drive to West Palm Beach. We flew into Palm Beach International airport, rented a car, and drove the hour to the resort. Because it was such a quick and easy drive, we decided to drive back to West Palm for a day and do a little exploring. I would definitely recommend staying at Hutchinson Shores in Jensen Beach and making a day trip to West Palm if that is somewhere you would like to explore.

3. The staff is wonderful! Everyone we came in contact with was so hospitable and accommodating. We also loved that on each floor, there was a fully stocked pantry available to all guests. You can get complimentary bottled water throughout the day, fruit in the mornings, and freshly baked cookies in the evenings.

4. While Jensen Beach is the epitome of laid back coastal living, there are so many fun things to do during your stay. You can go sailfishing in the Sailfish Capitol, rent bicycles to explore the city, go snorkeling, kayaking, scuba diving, surfing, or golfing. You can even go visit the Florida Oceanographic Society, Elliot Museum, or The House of Refuge.

5. Even if you are traveling alone, the resort has weekly activities you can get involved in with other guests. Weekly activities include: shell collecting, sand castle building contests, corn hole competitions, sea turtle scavenger hunts, dive-in movies at the Reflections pool, morning yoga on the beach, and evening rhythm drum circles on the beach.

 

OVERALL EXPERIENCE

I mostly covered this in my reasons to stay at Hutchinson Shores, but I truly cannot say enough good things about the resort. Hutchinson Shores Resort & Spa is absolutely gorgeous and so well-maintained. The hospitality of the staff is like no other, and the amenities + activities are endless. I can’t wait to go back with Adam!
