HOW TO SET UP A DIY HOT COCOA BAR

Today I’m teaming up with Old Time Pottery to bring some Fall goodness to my backyard! I’m sharing 3 easy steps for how to set up a backyard DIY hot cocoa bar this Fall. Not sure what toppings you need? I’ve listed lots of ideas below!

I have been compensated by Old Time Pottery for this post, however all opinions are 100% my own.

SET UP A DIY HOT COCOA BAR

Step 1: Decide what toppings you are going to add to your DIY hot cocoa bar. (Keep reading for ideas!) This will help you determine how many jars/containers you will need to hold everything. Another tip: If you’re setting up outdoors, use a serving tray. It not only looks cute, but it also makes it so much easier to carry everything outdoors.

Step 2: Head to Old Time Pottery for all your outdoor Fall decor! Old Time Pottery has the best festive inventory for both indoors and outdoors. During this visit, my local store had more outdoor Halloween items than Fall (but they get new items on a weekly basis) so I will definitely be heading back! Old Time Pottery is also a great place to get everything you need for your hot cocoa bar. I found the tea towels, serving tray, glass jars, white pumpkins, and pumpkin candle holders all at Old Time Pottery! When we set up our DIY hot cocoa bar again later this Fall, I plan to bring our big lanterns from the front porch to the backyard to help set a cozy, Fall mood.

Step 3: Add festive touches. Since my DIY hot cocoa bar was Fall themed, I knew I wanted to add pumpkins for decorations. I snagged a bunch of different white pumpkins because they will be easy to later repurpose indoors or outdoors. I LOVED the pumpkin candle holders and can’t wait to do this again one evening with friends so I can light the candles and soak up all the Fall feels!
