Since posting this photo on my Instagram account, I’ve gotten a ton of DMs asking how I was able to get this photo in front of Cinderella’s castle at Disney World. Everyone wants to know if I photoshopped people out of it, got to the park super early, etc. The answer is no & no. I am about to share possibly the BEST little secret for how to take the perfect photo in front of Cinderella’s castle at Magic Kingdom!

The photos above were taken on a Saturday when the park was crazy busy. Below is a screenshot from my InstaStories of when we were walking over to the castle that day.
As you can see, the park was full of people. Britt and I knew we wanted to get some gorgeous castle photos, however we were already thinking that it might not happen because EVERYONE wants that castle photo. But, luckily, the best thing EVER happened.
Right as we reached the castle, a parade started. Suddenly all the people who were trying to get their picture in front of the castle immediately moved to the edge of the sidewalk to watch the parade. Literally EVERYONE moved. If you’ve never seen the parades in Disney World before, they are over the top with floats, singing, dancing, people on stilts, etc. They are really fun to watch, but that’s your opportunity!
When everyone moves to watch the parade, it’s the perfect time to snap those epic castle pictures. No one will be near the castle, everyone will be distracted and not paying attention to your funny poses (#bloggerlife), and you have the golden opportunity to snap as many gorgeous photos as your heart desires!
That sounds like such a silly piece of Disney World advice, but trust me on this. This site has the schedule for daily parades so you’ll know the exact time to be there. Arrive early because once the parade starts, there is absolutely NO crossing the street.
