A new year is the perfect time to refresh, organize, and clean your home. This month, I teamed up with Old Time Pottery to refresh our guest bathroom. Keep reading for more photos of our bathroom refresh, the before photos, and how to refresh your own home this year!
I have been compensated by Old Time Pottery for this post, however all opinions are 100% my own.
GUEST BATHROOM REFRESH BEFORE & AFTER
What a difference a coat of paint, a new shower curtain, mirrors, and rugs make! I truly cannot get over these before and after photos.
HOW TO REFRESH YOUR HOME
Head to Old Time Pottery – Are you looking to makeover an entire room like we did? Do you want to refresh a space with new rugs or mirrors? Maybe you just want to declutter and organize. Whatever your goal, Old Time Pottery has everything you need to refresh your home in the new year.
Clean and Organize – The first step for any home refresh is cleaning, donating, and organizing! When I looked at our guest bathroom, I saw that we had just thrown stuff in there with no real purpose. In the above before photo, there’s a hanging shelf on the left that didn’t really serve a purpose. It held a bunch of knick knacks and just looked junky. So our first step was to clean out and donate the things we no longer planned to use.
We are going to tackle the bathroom drawers next with some organizational pieces at Old Time Pottery. They had so many great storage containers, organizers, and more!
Choose a new mirror or rug – A new mirror or rug can completely change the look of a space. These gold beveled mirrors instantly brightened up our guest bathroom. They were such a great price at Old Time Pottery, as well as the new towels and rugs!
Add greenery – We had some beautiful flowers in our guest bathroom before, but they didn’t match anything in the room. The easiest way to refresh a space is to add some gorgeous greenery. Greenery looks clean, chic, and gives life to any area of your home. Plus, greenery matches any space. I’m a big fan of Lambs Ear (here’s what we got) and Eucalyptus.
