Graduate Hotels recently invited Adam and I to stay at their Oxford location in exchange for a blog review. Neither of us had ever traveled to Oxford, so we jumped at the chance for a new adventure at the Graduate Hotel. We had such a great weekend in the picturesque college town! Because of that, I’m so excited to share where to eat, stay, and play in Oxford, Mississippi with all of you.
Adam and I received a complimentary stay from Graduate Hotels in exchange for this blog post. However, all opinions are 100% my own. Links contain affiliate links which means I receive a small commission for your click or purchase.
WHERE TO STAY
GRADUATE HOTEL
The Graduate Hotel is the perfect place to stay in Oxford, Mississippi. It’s located right in The Square – Oxford’s adorable downtown area that is full of shops, restaurants, and watering holes. The staff was so friendly and welcoming, but let’s face it, the pink floors sold me. As soon as I stepped through the doors, I knew I had found my happy place. Even Adam said the pink floors were pretty cool. 😉

OUR ROOM
Below are a few photos from our Graduate King room. Again, those floors! The decor at Graduate Oxford truly is like no other. With the adorable patterns, textures, and overall college vibes, you’ll be instantly charmed.
WHERE TO EAT & PLAY
CABIN 82
We quickly noticed that the lobby area of the hotel seems to be a favorite hideaway of the local college students. There’s so many places to lounge or study, and Cabin 82 is the perfect place to grab a cup of coffee or snack. Located in the hotel’s lobby, you can order your java to go or stay awhile and enjoy their patio with a view of The Square.
THE COOP
The Coop is the hotel’s rooftop eatery and bar. The menu boasts Southern Classics, and that’s exactly what you’ll get. The Coop is fairly busy during the day, with a steady flow of people stopping in for lunch or an afternoon pick me up. But at night, The Coop really shines. It was such a bustling, fun place to be! Plus, who wouldn’t love that amazing view?
If you feel like exploring The Square, you can walk, drive, or enjoy the hotel’s complimentary bike rental service.
THE SQUARE
In The Square, you’ll find cute little bookstores, clothing and shoe stores, restaurants, specialty shops, and much more!
On our first night, we ventured to The Square and tried Soulshine Pizza Factory. It seemed to be a local favorite, and it was amazing! I would highly recommend eating there. On Saturday, we explored more of The Square and walked over to Abner’s Restaurant for lunch. They’re known for their chicken fingers and fries. We enjoyed it, but the pizza was the downtown winner for us!
On Saturday night, we traveled a couple of miles away from downtown to eat at El Agave, a super busy Mexican restaurant. The restaurant was very large, so even though it seemed to be packed, we only waited about 10 minutes for our table. We really enjoyed El Agave and would also highly recommend it. It was such a fun atmosphere!
I truly cannot say enough good things about our stay at Graduate Oxford. We loved the hotel, the location, and all of the delicious food! Thank you Graduate Hotels! We hope to come visit Oxford again soon. 🙂
I miss Oxford so much! The Coop is such a fun place for drinks. Next time you go back make sure to check out Taylor Grocery, City Grocery, Boure, and Old Venice (their pizza gives Soulshine a run for their money- but we love Soulshine too!). It’s such a quaint little town. Missing college!
Oxford was so much fun! We had no idea how cute it was!! We heard a lot about City Grocery, but we tend to eat like little kids. Ha! Chicken fingers, pizza, hamburgers, and Mexican food are always our favorites! We will definitely have to try Old Venice next time! Thanks for the recommendations! 🙂
