Because Valentine’s Day is one of my favorite holidays, I thought in today’s post I would share an easy-to-recreate, casual Valentine’s Day look with all of you. And, since we’re already spreading the Valentine’s Day cheer here at VFB, I’m teaming up with a few bloggers for a special giveaway! More details, and how you can enter, is at the bottom of this post.

I don’t know why, but Valentine’s Day is one of my favorite holidays. I know a lot of people do not share the same sentiments, but I have always loved the holiday. It is even more fun now, as a teacher, to see all of my first grade students being so sweet to each other. As teachers, we try to instill values of kindness, compassion, and understanding in our students, and it seems like these qualities shine extra brightly at certain times throughout the year. (Valentine’s Day is always one of those special times).
Since Valentine’s day falls on a Wednesday this year, Adam and I will probably make some type of plans, but more than likely, they will be casual. Since I think we’re going more laid back this year, I decided to start rounding up some casual & easy VDay looks in case your plans are going to be similar to ours. Bonus: this casual Valentine’s Day look is super easy to recreate!
This sweater is one of my current favs. The fit is perfection (love when a sweater is not too long), and it’s also on sale! It comes in 6 different colors and I’m seriously considering ordering them all. It paired perfected with white denim, and these super cute booties. You could always add nude heels to dress it up a little more. 😉
Now to show my love and appreciation for all of you, a few bloggers and myself have put together this giveaway just in time for Valentine’s Day!
