Hi babes!! HAPPY FRIDAY!! Andddd Happy Cinco de Mayo! Woohoo! That certainly makes for a great Friday if you ask me! If you follow me on Instagram, you know I did not have a great 4th of May, so here’s hoping that the 5th is better! 😉 What are your plans for Cinco de Mayo? This morning, I’m off to the movies with my firsties, so this post is going to be short and sweet.

I had to share this adorable dress with all of you though. It is seriously the perfect dress for Summer! It’s light weight, NOT see-through, black (hello, flattering angles), off the shoulder, and has ruffles. Are you convinced that you need it yet? I’ve already decided it’s a Summer staple for me. Hey babes! How has your weekend been? If you’ve been following along over on my Instagram, you know that Adam has been laying hardwood in our living room *YAY* and I’ve been shopping.. ha! I can’t wait to show you our living room before & afters. But until then, I wanted to share this Summery look from yesterday with you all.

Make Me Chic sent me this dress, and I just love the cold shoulder and ruffle details. Only 20 more school days for me! That’s so crazy, and a tiny bit stressful since my amazing co-teacher and I are packing up our classrooms to move into a bigger room. We are so excited, but the packing has GOT to get rolling! Anyone have any moving tips for teachers? ha I’m looking forward to another full and busy week of teaching firsties, blogging, planning our Summer vacation (any ideas?!), and getting our living room back in order. Hi babes! How has your week been so far? I can’t believe how quickly April has flown by! We have been so busy this month, and it has felt like such a whirlwind. I am definitely looking forward to relaxing a little over Summer break. What are your Summer plans?

Some of my favorite items to wear this time of year are rompers and jumpsuits. When I saw this gorgeous magenta jumpsuit from The Mint Julep Boutique, I knew I had to have it! The Mint Julep sent it to me, and I have been in love with it from the moment I opened the package. The magenta color is so bright and PERFECT for Spring and Summer! (Also, the shoes that I linked are an exact color match, so you totally need them too.)

I know some people shy away from wearing jumpsuits, but if you ever thought about giving them a try, you need to start with this one! I’ll be the first person to say that I have wider hips, but the way this jumpsuit is cut, with the belt cinching in at the waist, it made my curves look so much better than I imagined! Hi loves! So I’ve been trying to get this post up for days, but I have just been so tired! This time of year is so crazy for everyone, but especially in the teaching world. There’s so much going on, and while the days are full, I feel like time is so short. I have came home every day this week and just crashed on the couch. (So not productive!) But, finally, I’m getting around to posting my Easter dress.

This $17 dress that SheIn sent me is so cute! I cannot get over the little ties on the sleeves. Blue stripes are so popular right now, and if you’ve been looking to add some to your wardrobe, start with this dress! The fit is super flattering, and the off the shoulder neckline is also right on trend. Pair it with a colorful shoe like these pink heels and you’ve got the perfect Spring look!

Happy Easter loves! I hope you have all had a wonderful day spent with family and reflecting on the reason we celebrate this precious day. I shared a little bit about this over on my Instagram if you want to go check it out.

On another note, I am so excited to feature my favorite local boutique with you all! Since it opened, The Willow Tree has been my go-to place for all things fashion. Y’all know I’m Kendra Scott crazy, so when I found out that I could shop her pieces at my favorite boutique, I couldn’t have been more thrilled.

The Danielle earring is a great purchase for adding a pop of color to any outfit. I love wearing a simple top or dress and then going with a bold statement earring.
