2024 FALL MANTEL
TIPS FOR YOUR FALL MANTEL DECOR
- Shop at Old Time Pottery – I was so impressed with this year’s Fall selection at Old Time Pottery. They had so many gorgeous pumpkins, florals, and pillows! Old Time Pottery is always my first stop for seasonal decor because their selection + prices cannot be beat.
- Think outside the box – I am always thinking of how I can use things in different ways. For example, I found the gorgeous wreath for my 2024 Fall mantel first. I wanted a garland to match, but didn’t see one at my store. However, my store did have matching door swags. Door swags are typically used in place of a wreath. But I snagged four of them, bent back the hanging loops, and used them as a garland instead. I actually love how it turned out because it looks so full.
- Don’t be afraid to mix textures/colors – Everything doesn’t have to match perfectly. It actually adds so much more interest when you mix different textures and colors. I love the mixture of all the different textured pumpkins on my hearth. Can you spot the two pumpkins that are actually pillows? I think the pillows definitely add a level of coziness that was perfect for my 2024 Fall mantel.
- Add lighting – Some type of lighting feature makes everything look extra cozy for Fall. You could add string lights to your mantel, candles, or a lantern like I did. I have a battery powered light inside mine that has a timer so I don’t forget to turn it off. I got it at Old Time Pottery as well!
