Today I’m teaming up with Old Time Pottery to share my 2023 Halloween tablescape. I have always loved decorating for Fall, but this year it has been so fun to change things up and add some spooky Halloween decor around my home. Keep reading for more photos + a SUPER easy and inexpensive way to make a big impact with your own Halloween tablescape.
I have been compensated by Old Time Pottery for this post, however all opinions are 100% my own.
Create Your Own Halloween Tablescape
Step 1: Go to Old Time Pottery. If you’re creating a Halloween tablescape this year but don’t know where to start, I recommend heading to Old Time Pottery. Old Time Pottery has so much Halloween inventory right now. You will definitely be inspired!
Step 2: Add Fun Tableware. I always love changing up my tableware for a new season. Old Time Pottery is the perfect place to shop for tableware because their prices are so low, so you can get a lot for less. I already had the white plates, but I snagged the black plates and skeleton bowls to match the color scheme.
Step 3: Select Candles for a Centerpiece. Instead of a big decorative piece as the centerpiece, I wanted candles to set a spooky vibe for my 2023 Halloween tablescape. I chose black candlesticks and white unscented candles. Old Time Pottery also has a big selection of flameless candles. I like using candles as a centerpiece because they can always be repurposed around your home later.
Step 4: Grab a few Decorative Pieces. I added the mummy hands and potion bottles to balance out the ends of the table and I love how it turned out. A few well-selected items can make your tablescape look balanced and complete.
Step 5: Don’t Forget Spiderwebs! These spiderwebs were such an easy and inexpensive way to make a big impact on my Halloween tablescape. I used two packages to cover my entire table. PRO TIP: The more you stretch them out, the more realistic they look. To secure them in place, I just wrapped the webbing around the corners of the table. I also used a few pieces of tape under the table to pull the webbing tight on the sides. I also pushed two of the spiders that came with the webbing into the candles. (But of course I will remove them before lighting. :))
I love this!
